I would just like to say how pleased I am with the quality of service from 101 Mobility. We purchased a Handicare Minivator 1000 Series chair lift for my wife almost a year and half ago in June of 2013. The chair has worked perfectly for my wife’s daily needs to get up and down our stairs until last night when I could not get it to operate. My wife also happened to be recovering from surgery from that morning making the need for the chair even more critical. I called 101 Mobility and was told they had dispatched a technician that would give me a call to set up an appointment. When I told them my wife was recovering from surgery and I needed to get her downstairs for a treatment they first tried to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone. When that didn’t work they promised to expedite the technical request and would do everything in their power to get a tech to my home that day. The problem was, that often times, the technician is booked for the day with previous scheduled appointments. However, within 30 minutes after my phone call I received a call from the local Houston technician and he was at my home within an hour. He came all the way from the other side of town and immediately diagnosed the problem which was merely a disconnection of the wire coupling between the operating toggle and the chair motor. He re-attached the coupling and taped it to make sure it did not come apart again and greased the rail track. He also performed a functional test up and down the stairs multiple times to make sure everything was okay before he left. His name was Todd and he told me when they advised him of my situation he immediately made my call a priority. He was very professional and friendly. Bottom line, I would recommend 101 Mobility to anyone. Great job!
